Thats super cool! My parents stayed there many yrs ago on there honeymoon, nothing supernatural happened that week, Mom said the grounds and gardens were exceptionally lovely, but inside the place was scary as heck, very eery!
The Shining (the original film) movie is one of my favorite movies, and we stayed a weekend at the Stanley Hotel of Estes Park, Colorado in 2001 but no hauntings for us that particular weekend, but it was a scary hotel needless to say!
Hotel guests consistently hear the noises of children running around & playing in the halls & rooms, especially on the 4th floor, but they never find anything. Also, several other hauntings have occured including sights of the original owners, Mr. & Mrs. Stanley themselves, among many other ghosts & supernatural happenings. Definitely a creepy place to give anybody the shivers, and it's rated 1 of the 8 Most Scariest Places on Earth by U.S. Travel.
